frequently asked questions
What is the police check process for 2010?
All Green Team volunteers are required to undergo a Police Records Check every two years. If you already have a National Police Check (NPC) that was issued in 2009 or 2010 please post a copy to 23 Valmai Ave Kings Park SA 5034.
If you don't already have a National Police Check then please follow the process below:
1. See your team leader for the necessary form to obtain a FREE NPC
2. Fill in the form and take it to your local police station with 100 points of ID to prove your identity.
3. Get the police officer to stamp the form and give it back to you. Do not pay for the police check.
4. Give the form back to your team leader who will send all your team forms back to Encounter Youth.
5. Encounter Youth will then complete the remaining process and give your police check to you at the festival.
Remember to get onto this process ASAP as police check forms can take up to 6 weeks to process and without a NPC you cannot be on the Green Team this year!
